Sometimes the PDF Annotator software on my tablet gets into a “constant beeping” state. Here anything I do with the pen or eraser results in a rapid set of beeps (though everything still works). Curiously, other tools such as arrow or shape-drawing tools are unaffected.
As with some of my other problems, this problem is cured when I make the laptop hibernate and then wake it up again.
